No need to make all or even most of the dates. Once you get accepted we’ll go over the schedule together and you can pick the dates that work for you. If you can only log on at 3:35 or have to leave by 5:20, know that there’s some flexibility on both ends because those blocks include time for setup and ballot-writing. Please note any time constraints on your application.
Judging in Person
There will also be several in-person tournaments throughout the school year, mostly on Saturdays in NYC. The exact payment depends on the school but is usually around $125…if you’re interested we’ll keep you updated about those opportunities too.
How do I apply?
Flow and judge the 2024 Coolidge Cup championship using this ballot.
Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
If you need to pause the video to keep up with notes, please keep it to the amount that you’d pause students in a live round.
Our scrimmages run at a pretty quick pace but you’ll have time to edit your shorthand afterwards, so use that as a timing guide. This doesn’t need to be the best ballot ever written, but we need to see that you can track the arguments well and use them to inform a meaningful, well-articulated reason for your decision. We also need to see clear, positive and negative, transferrable feedback on students’ performances.
If you’re willing to volunteer in lieu of payment, please indicate that on your ballot.
Sorry to international applicants, but we can only pay US citizens who are residing in the United States.
